Presbyter Sakyi, a lay preacher, is the founding father of the National Union of E.P. Church Ghana Israel Groups (NUEPIG). Presbyter Charles Sitsofe Sakyi, who is a member of the Ashanti Presbytery is a Development Management and Administration Specialist with over 32 years of work experience with local and international agencies.
His vision for the church is to focus on advocacy for skill development and decentralization of operations of Evangelical Presbyterian Development and Relief Agency (EPDRA) – a non-governmental body that seeks to empower the poor and vulnerable in society and improve livelihoods through capacity building, sound environmental and health practices while promoting the gospel- to build the Church.
He is married with seven children
Presbyter Charles Sakyi holds a Bsc. Hons Degree in Development Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, an M.A. Degree in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague, Netherlands, in addition to a MSc. Degree in Urban Management and Development, from the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands among other laurels.
