The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (EPCG) held a colourful induction ceremony for the third (3rd) Clerk of the General Assembly of the Church. The event took place on Sunday 9th January, 2021 at the EPCG Dela Cathedral, Ho-Kpodzi, Ho.
In his sermon, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church, Rt. Rev. Dr. Lt. Col. B. D. K. Agbeko (rtd.) reminded the congregants that God has given assurance to be a source of blessing to those He has called just like He did for the nation of Israel; such persons are blessed beyond curse. He added that the apostles readily gave support to the people sent on the evangelistic mission thus same help should be extended to the new Clerk as he takes office. In his welcome remarks to the new Clerk, he stated that he believed God had chosen him specially to work with the team in a commando module to rescue, resuscitate, revive and heal the EPCG. He indicated that he saw him as a seed set to bear great fruits thus he had a call to be different, selfless, and rely on the grace, mercy and favour of God. According to the Moderator, a successful life in ministry is not by academic grade but by grace; it is not by the labour of your own strength but by the favour of God and It is not by merit but the mercy of God.
