Christ cannot be lockdown by Coronavirus; His resurrection connotes new beginnings
Reverend Dickson Asante, Parish Pastor of the Makafui E. P. Church of Agortome in Ho said “Jesus Christ cannot be locked down by Coronavirus” and urged Christians to walk in the resurrection newness and strength.
He said, His resurrection and defeat of death would battle Coronavirus into extinction.
Rev. Asante was preaching on Easter Sunday on adopted Leprosarium Community public address system to reach out to many Christians in lieu of the social distancing protocol measure to contain the spread of the virus.
“Everything that is dead should gain life, everything disease and sickness should be healed,” he said, urging mankind to propagate the resurrection reality all year round.
He said the authority that rolled off the boulder on the tomb that fateful day “is still alive” to overwhelm the Coronavirus that is devastating the world without clues.
Rev. Asante prayed Christ’s resurrection would protect the world, Africa and Ghana from the disease and especially frontline health workers.
